Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment program was introduced by the government in 2013, making it one of the Caribbean’s newer programs.
To apply for this program, you must be at least 18 years old, in good health, and have no criminal record. Unlike other Caribbean programs, as a future citizen of Antigua and Barbuda, you must reside for at least 5 days within the first 5 years to maintain your citizenship. During this visit, you and any dependents over the age of 18 are required to take the oath of allegiance.
Additionally, you must make a non-refundable donation to the National Development Fund or invest in government-approved real estate projects.

COSTS OF ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA CITIZENSHIP BY INVESTMENT

For qualifying contributions to the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Program, there are two options:

1. Contribution to National Development Fund (NDF)

A cash donation to the National Development Fund. This one-time payment is made directly to an escrow account managed by the government’s Citizenship and Investment Unit.
